Here are two simple morning prayers for children:
Dear God,
Thank you for this new day. Please be with me as I go through it. Help me to be kind, helpful and respectful to everyone I meet. Please help me to learn new things and do my best in everything I do. Keep me and my family safe and healthy throughout the day.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
Dear God,
Thank you for the gift of this new day. As I wake up and prepare for the day ahead, I ask for your love, guidance, and protection. Please help me to remember that you are always with me, no matter where I go or what I do.
As I go to school or wherever I need to be today, please help me to be kind and respectful to everyone I meet. Help me to listen to my teachers and do my best in all my tasks. Please help me to be patient and understanding with my friends and classmates.
Thank you for my family and friends who love me and support me. Please keep them safe and healthy today too.
Thank you for your never-ending love and grace. Help me to trust in you and follow your ways always.
